The Zinc Reference Electrode is designed for permanent installation to obtain accurate voltage potential measurements on underground metallic structures (ie., buried and submerged pipelines, underground storage tanks etc.)

The Permanent Zinc Reference Electrodes provided by ICCC are available with Plattline® Zinc Ribbon elements, pre-packaged in a low resistivity backfill to retain moisture and maintain stability. Standard termination is 25 feet at AWG 8/7 stranded copper lead wire with RWU insulation; other wire sizes, lengths and types are possible.

The products are manufactured in accordance with strict ASTM, CAN/ULC standards of chemistry, production control, testing and certification.
