Anotec manufactures High Silicon Cast Iron Anodes for Impressed Current Cathodic Protection. Anotec Anodes are used for cathodic protection of metallic structures buried in soil or aqueous environments, in both shallow and deep well ground bed applications.

The consumption rate of High Silicon Cast Iron anodes is between 0.2 and 1.2 pounds per ampere year; the use of coke breeze around the anode in soil ground beds typically reduces the consumption rate.
